ADE RD3-013 Bertrilium 4 MOA Red Dot — Compact, Tough, Motion‑Awake

Includes: ADE RD3-013 Red Dot sight, RUGER Security .380-specific mounting plate, standard Picatinny mount, recoil-reduction rubber shim, mounting screws, Allen wrench/tool, battery opener coin, CR2032 battery, lens cloth, and instruction manual.

Compatibility note: The supplied optic plate fits RUGER Security .380 only. It does not fit the RUGER Security 9 or SR9 — please verify your pistol model before ordering.

Key Features

  • 4 MOA dot — precise and fast target acquisition for pistols and small platforms.

  • Motion‑Activated “Motion Awake” system — the dot sleeps after 5 minutes of inactivity to save battery and instantly wakes to the previous brightness when motion or vibration is detected. You can also manually power off to disable the motion feature.

  • Rugged, compact design — 1.75" L × 1.25" W × 1.15" H; lightweight and unobtrusive.

  • Durable construction — shockproof, fogproof, and waterproof (tested up to 30 minutes under 4 ft).

  • Precision adjustments — 1 MOA windage and elevation clicks with audible feedback.

  • Power: CR2032 lithium battery (included).

Why shooters like it

Small and lightweight for concealed-carry-ready pistols, yet tough enough for regular range use. The Motion‑Awake system extends battery life without sacrificing instant-on readiness.

Installation & Safety

While many customers successfully install this optic without a gunsmith, we strongly recommend professional installation if you’re not comfortable working on firearms. Improper installation or incorrect torque can cause loose screws, loss of zero, damage to the firearm or optic, and risk of injury.

Troubleshooting — dot appears distorted?

If the dot looks splashed, half‑moon, multi‑dot, or starburst to your eye, you may have astigmatism. A quick way to check: take a photo of the dot with your phone. If the photo shows a clean circular dot while your eye sees distortion, your vision (not the optic) is likely the cause. If unsure, consult an eye care professional.
